Hi, I'm Natalie Rapp.

Welcome to Peace and Quiet. I look forward to sharing compassionate listening and mindful living with your family. 

 

I hold Montessori certifications in both the primary and lower elementary environments through the North American Montessori Center and have taught in Montessori and homeschool settings in the Nashville area.

 

One day while looking around my classroom, I realized that I cared less about the materials on the shelf and more about each child’s heart, suffering, and sense of wonder. With this knowledge, I have obtained certifications in Spiritual Direction with Children, Meditation and Mindfulness with Children, Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, Godly Play, and Out of the Box Stories .

 

From 2023 to 2025 I joyfully served in Family Formation at St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church in Nashville.  I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Leadership with a focus in Spiritual Direction from United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities, studying the spirituality of Internal Family Systems, and developing a way of sharing spiritual direction with children called Contemplaytion™.

 

The decision to homeschool my own child allowed my family to enjoy some amazing life experiences. In 2016, we sold our home in Franklin, bought an Airstream, and spent a year hiking in over forty national parks west of the Mississippi River. 

 

I am looking forward to getting to know your family, listening to what is important in your child’s life, and making sure they know that they are truly beloved.
