What does a typical session look like?

A quiet time to become present, listen deeply, and explore what is unfolding in your life.

Each 50 minute session begins by creating a little space to arrive—to leave behind the pace of the day and become present to yourself.

We may spend part of our time in meditation or contemplative prayer, followed by time for deep listening and conversation. Sometimes the meditation or prayer may bring something to the surface that you want to explore. Other times, you may arrive with something already on your heart.

There is no particular experience you are expected to have and no right way to do the practice. We simply pay attention to what is here.

My role is not to give you answers or tell you what your spiritual life should look like. I am there to listen with you—to make space for your questions, your experiences, your joys and difficulties, and the deeper things that may be asking for your attention.

A session may include:

  • A quiet arrival and grounding practice

  • Meditation or contemplative prayer

  • Silence and attentive listening

  • Conversation about what arose

  • Exploring questions, experiences, relationships, or transitions in your life

  • Time to notice what you may be learning or discovering

  • A simple closing practice or intention for the week ahead
